'Can I say on behalf of all of us how much we enjoyed our stay at Villa Amelia. The whole experience was wonderful from the airport collection, welcoming local rep Omer and the staff who looked after the Villa. The Villa itself was just as promised and very well equipped and located. Olive Tree Travel have done a great job! Thanks again for all help with bookings and information which was very useful. I suspect we will be in touch again…'

'We had a very nice week at Villa Lykia, the accommodation was very spacious and comfortable.
We thought the loungers around the pool were the most comfortable we had ever known which meant many hours sitting round the pool!
All the staff that came round were very friendly, helpful and efficient. and we did have a few problems with the Wifi connection but this was dealt with very promptly and always resolved.
I would like to especially mention Omer who was absolutely brilliant, he was so helpful and informative and was an excellent "go to" about anything and everything! I lost my handbag on the outgoing flight from London to Istanbul with my purse/iPhone and driving licence in it and he managed to locate it at Istanbul airport and get it delivered to his office in Kalkan by Wednesday with everything in it including all the cash in the purse! He took us on a tour of Xanthos/Saklikent/Patara Beach on Tues which was also excellent. He is a real Gem and you must be very pleased to have such a great person on the ground in Kalkan! Please pass on our thanks again to him for all his help!
We had a really nice time and would happily recommend Olive Tree Travel to friends wanting a lovely relaxing holiday in Kalkan. We chose your company from a friend’s recommendation, they stayed with you last August.
Hopefully we will return as there is still so much we didn't manage to fit in and so many delicious restaurants we never managed to try!'

'Thank you for your e mail, we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Doruk Villa, it was everything we hoped for and more. It really is a fabulous villa in an ideal location. Our transfers from and to the airport were effortless, thank you for arranging them. The cleaning staff were thorough and very pleasant. The rep was informative and very helpful. We have had a perfect holiday and would highly recommend your company to anyone wanting to travel to Kalkan. Lastly I would like to thank you personally for all your help in making our holiday truly memorable.'

'Thank you SO much for organising our best holiday ever!
We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived as the huge villa & beautiful pool exceeded all our expectations.
Karyn was great too and the folder she left in the villa made our stay really straightforward, despite the numerous outings & activities we did.
The views from the villa were stunning and the location just right, near enough to the facilities but peaceful and quiet to give us the break from everything which we needed.
Thank you again for making a fantastic holiday so easy. We have already recommended Olive Tree and Villa Beloulou to lots of people.'

'We all had a fantastic time at Saribelen. The villas are very high quality and the location is excellent – 5k up into the hills may seem like a lot but the difference in heat / humidity is ideal and it’s really not that far into Kalkan. The way the villas are positioned means that there is a high degree of privacy and noise control as well, which is perfect.
The local agents couldn’t have been more helpful – the transfers went very smoothly, the agent was present when we arrived to show us around the villa (even though we were delayed 2 hours) and they were on hand to help with any problems or questions. Clearly your partnership is working very well. In fact, all the way through this process I have been really impressed with the service you’ve offered. Thanks for making our holiday enjoyable and stress free!
I look forward to booking with you again.'

'Well the Villa Nefis rocks! The Villa Nefis pool rocks! Kalkan rocks! In fact Turkey rocks!
We had a splendid 2 weeks and left glowing stuff in the Visitors Book unlike some we noted who clearly live to moan. "Only one tea towel" - what! What joyless lives they must lead.
I suppose the only complaint we have is that the cloudless clear deep blue sky was the same colour every day - but hey.
Thanks so much.'

'The service from Olive Tree Travel was exemplary, from the initial enquiry to our very last day. Olive Tree Travel is highly professional, helpful, responsive and capable and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to spend a holiday in Kalkan. They are also a very pleasant and friendly company to deal with who go out of their way to ensure every detail of one's stay is perfect.
The Boat House is a beautiful home, the highlight is the huge pool, which meant we spent a lot of time at home rather than exploring. There is so much space and so many terraces on which to read, sunbathe etc. It would be great to have sea access, although it's easy to swim in the sea from the Kalamar Beach club or Kulube. The unmade road and scary gradients made access to the house a bit of a pain, but this is perhaps the price of having such a private, secluded location - which we liked very much.
Most liked - the spacious airy elegance of the house, stunning sea and sky views, huge pool and terraces, late night swims, fresh fish from Kalkan on the barbecue, ample space for 2 families to co exist! Least liked - uncomfortable drive to shops/amenities.'

'We stayed in the Asfiya Hotel at the end of July and could not fault it in any way, our room was huge with a great view over Kalkan and the Bay plus it had a large terrace and a lovely plunge pool which was perfect for cooling off.
The breakfasts are varied and with a very good selection and the hot section changes every day, my favourite was Menemen, which is like English scrambled egg with added onions tomatoes and peppers, plus the chef will cook you fresh omelettes and all kinds of egg.
As mentioned before it is a short walk down to Kalkan but that is a pleasant stroll on the way to the harbour, having said that we got a taxi home every night as the hill is quite steep and not ideal after a lovely meal and costs the equivalent of three UK pounds so doesn’t break the bank.
The Restaurants in Kalkan are fantastic, many with wonderful roof top terraces, in the 9 nights
we ate out we did not have one bad meal and the night time views are stunning
I must add a big thank you to Debbie from Olive Tree Travel who booked the Hotel and Transfers for us and made everything a stress free experience.'

'I would like to thank you both, Debbie and Martin for making my holiday so simple.
Simple to book, simple to pay, simple to arrange transfers, a simply marvellous villa and truly magnificent holiday.
Right from the start I knew I was going to get a great service, this started when I had a reply to an e-mail at 9.30 pm, ten minutes after I asked my initial question..now that’s service. It was my first Villa holiday and it was for a party of 9, I had lots of nerves and lots of questions having been doing all inclusive hotels for as long as I can remember. Debbie helped me, pointed me in the right direction and answered my queries quickly and precisely. Once the decision was made it was a simple process to get everything in place and everything then happened exactly as planned without a hitch.
We stayed in a villa in Kiziltas, new property to Olive Tree’s portfolio and it was superb. We had one problem shortly after arrival, however Debbie and Martin were in Kalkan and after a few text messages came out and personally helped sort our problem out. You don’t get that with high street travel agents. They then stayed in touch and made sure our issues were resolved.
Overall I would recommend Kalkan to anyone, only a small town or village as I was informed by the locals. But a friendly place with plenty to do and see. I 100% recommend Olive tree travel for their personal service and attention to detail. And recommend villa Kiziltas for its magnificent views over Kalkan.
Thank you both and I look forward to doing business with you again.'

'Many thanks for all your help with our holiday, we had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute. We were very impressed with the efficiency of your team when we made the booking and answering all queries we had so promptly. Turgay was also very helpful on our arrival.
The apartment (Asfiya Retreat – Kugu) was brilliant and for the first time ever we have been on a holiday where we would love to revisit one day, normally we really enjoy our holidays but wouldn't normally revisit the same place. But we definitely fell in love with Kalkan!
We have already recommended your services and now a colleague is thinking of booking a holiday too!
Please can you also extend our thanks to Abi Travel who were superb at helping with car hire and we also really enjoyed the boat trip we booked with them.'

'We wanted a break away to relax & switch off...we also wanted a place to fit our large family & somewhere with good decor. Villa Lycia delivered that and more...we loved the pool, the garden had shade & the sea views were really pretty. The villa has great layout & lots of space to fit a family of 8. The twin room was a lovely surprise... The villa is very close to the shops & restaurants & is situated in a good spot on the hillside. The villa agents were really accommodating & the company very professional. Very satisfied customers :):):)'

'We spent a week at Villa Blue in Kalkan to celebrate my birthday, and we just didn't want to leave...
The Villa is incredible, with great views overlooking Kalkan and the med, especially from the penthouse suite, a perfect spot to watch the sunset with a glass of champagne. And the infinity pool was well loved by all! The 'pool boy'/grounds keeper visited daily, and was full of advice on where to visit in Kalkan, which was very welcome.
On the night of my birthday, we had a Turkish meal cooked at the Villa by Rosie and her team at Kalkan Concierge, with many "this is the best meal I've ever eaten" going round the table. Rosie was lovely and exuberant, and made the day even more special.
As for Kalkan... such a lovely little town with such stunning beaches! The people were all so friendly, and it's definately worth doing a boat cruise to the islands. Also, I would highly recommend hiring cars for the stay and checking out the surrounding beaches, especially Kaputus beach to the east of Kalkan.
The villa is on a hill overlooking the bay, so car hire is definately recommended (you don't even want to think about climbing the hill to get home in that heat!), but that just adds to its charm.
All in all, I would highly recommend Villa Blue to future guests, and will endeavour to be back there soon!!'

"Olive Tree Travel's service is excellent. Any communications were dealt with very quickly and well. We felt well looked after on our holiday.
The villa (Nefis) really made our stay very enjoyable. We loved the living accommodation and dining areas outside and on veranda, we had everything we needed. The views around the villa were beautiful and we enjoyed many an evening having a quiet BBQ and enjoying the views.
The pool was an excellent place to relax, my 5 year old son loved it, but as the depth was all over 160m he definately needed his swim bouyancy vest- I would recommend anyone taking young children to invest in one.
We were situated up the hill, which gave us these special views, but we were able to walk down easily into the town to visit the many various restaurants. Service and friendliness when eating out was excellent, we never has an bad meal.
The old part of the town is beautiful and has many excellent restaurants and special shops to visit. There are a few small but well stocked supermarkets along with butchers and fruit/veg shops. Plenty of atms.
You can select from a variety of boat trips/days out. We loved the basic boat trip, again, beautiful views and gorgeous clear warm waters to swim in. From Kalkan you can visit other little towns and further west along the coast the beautiful Patara beach-well worth the visit.
We loved our 2 week stay here, I recommend it highly. I think it's the local people and uncommercialised nature of Kalkan that made it so special. We will return one day!"

"Only two months ago I hadn't even heard of Kalkan but was recommended by a work colleague to take a look. When I checked it out on websites I was really surprised at what I was looking at and booked flights straightaway. Next was the accomodation...lots of websites etc. but Olive Tree really caught my eye and the booking process was very straightforward and Debbie very helpful.
Anyway, we are just back and have spent two great weeks in Kalkan. The place was even better than I expected and the apartment (Victoria) was superb. There is always a worry that people staying in the apartments above and below might be too noisy etc. but fortunately all was fine. The apartment itself was superbly equipped and located and I am certainly fitter for the last 50 metres of the walk up.
Definitely going to have a return trip and if anyone else is going for the first time, try Iso's Terrace just around the corner from Victoria apartment...great food etc. and Iso is a great bloke!"

'We stayed at Villa Doruk for one week, 2 adults and 4 teenagers and had the most wonderful holiday. The villa had everything and a bit more that we could possibly want - lots of space, a beautiful swimming pool and jacuzzi and views of Kalkan to die for.
Villa Doruk is only 5 minutes walk to the shops and harbour (quite a steep climb back mind you, but good e exercise!) so we did not need to hire a car which made a very nice change, there are so many tours to pick from but transport is included in all of them so there really is no need to have your own. Three supermarkets are only 5/10 minute walk away, the best being 'Yali' which has all the supplies you could possibly need whilst you are away. Taxis are cheap and will wait for you while you shop without charging you for your shopping time.
The people are so friendly and the service in restaurants is excellent. We found Aubergine on the marina to be the best restaurant we tried so we spent the last few meals there - lunch and dinner! We took a boat trip with Sunset Tours who were excellent and I would highly recommend.
The agent for Villa Doruk in Kalkan was really helpful and sorted any minor problems we had quickly and efficiently. A couple of negatives would be they only have a small bin in the kitchen so rubbish accumulated quickly but someone comes in every morning to remove it and bed linen/towels were changed mid-week.
All in all a wonderful holiday, we would definitely return.'
- Nicola O – (Harpenden, Herts, UK) – June 2012
'I intended emailing you as soon as we returned home from Kalkan (very early this morning after a delayed flight due to bad weather in Europe) but it's taken me quite a while to get through many messages after a week away! We wanted to thank you for organising a fantastic holiday for us. Having visited Kalkan a few years ago I was somewhat tentative about returning but absolutely everything lived up to expectation.

'I just got back and I would like to thank you for a very nice vacation in Kalkan.
The villa was more than lovely and the pool was fairly private and the view is really nice. We enjoyed our time and I will for sure recommend it to all my friends :)
Everything was very well arranged and I didn't have to worry about anything.
Please if at any time you intended to visit Egypt to tell me so i can meet you and thank you personally.'
- Sally B (Cairo, Egypt) - 28th June 2011
"We had a great holiday and feel we were looked after extremely well; from the pick up at the airport through to the stay at the Asfiya where everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the rooms were a good size and tastefully decorated.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of options and there were always sun beds available by the pool!
Kalkan is a lovely resort and we particularly enjoyed the vast array of restaurants and activities available."

'This was our 2nd year at Villa Dolluca and we will be returning next year. A beautiful, spacious villa in an absolutely spectacular location. The views are second to none, allowing you to drink in the sights of what must surely be, the jewel in Turkeys crown, Kalkan.
Debbie and the management team at Abi Travel (in Kalkan) made this a totally stress free holiday for us, Debbie arranging for our hire car to be at Dalaman for our arrival & any trips we wanted were easily booked through Abi. Abi were always on hand with any assistance or advice needed.
The villa met all our needs and we were very comfortable, enjoying the very pretty poolside terraces, (very private at the rear of the terrace) throughout the day and the nightcaps on the balcony overlooking beautiful twinkling Kalkan at night. The pool and terraces are well tended daily and the villa itself was cleaned midway through our stay. All in all, a wonderful holiday in a fab villa, to which we are very much looking forward to returning to next year.'
